Expenses in the effort to give Triumph her new permanent prosthetic legs and on going care have been very high. She will have to visit in Denver 2-3 times a year for her check-ups and follow ups. She periodically requires medicines to keep down any bacterial infections that might occur etc.

If you would like to help, you'll not only help Triumph, but other injured and amputee pets in the future who can gain from the experience of Triumph's first-of-its-kind surgery. In addition to her traditional care she received complimenting therapies from Healing Touch for Animals, massage, and Foothills Holistic Veterinary Services donated acupuncture and chiropractic care all of which enhanced and sped her healing. She still receives these therapies.

The Triumph Fund has a goal to help others as well....any excess funds will be donated to that goal...a dream to establish and contribute to rescue, rehabilitation, training and after care. The ultimate dream and goal is for the establishment of a wellness center for such animals. One of the lessons learned from Triumph's experience is that there is a tremendous amount of post op care and rehabilitation requiring intensive daily care and observation for a period of time.

Helen Berschneider, DVM is managing the Triumph Fund held at the Wilson Bank & Trust to insure that donations are fully accounted for. Updates will be published on this website.

We also want to thank EVERYONE connected with this medical historical event. Dr. Robert Taylor, Alameda East who contributed surgeries and services in Denver and his entire staff for their on going incredible care plus BioMedtrics, Celenova, Carol Komitor founder of Healing Touch for Animals and her staff for all they have done including putting us up when in Denver, arranging flights, providing Healing Touch before, during and after surgeries....loaning the car, PMMI; Precision Metal Machining, Inc. in Saddle Brook, NJ., Alpine Elastomer Products in Fair Field, NJ. David McCrink assisted with the mold and rubber feet. Michelle for managing the web site and to the so many who to date have contributed in so very many supportive ways from the largest to the smallest which -along with all the prayers that started at Unity Church for Positive Living in Old Hickory, Tn (where she is an official member) to help bring her to the USA. these and many others have made this possible. There isn't enough room on the website to thank everyone by name but be assured EVERYONE is remembered and thanked!

Thanks for holding my hand and wiping my tears and sharing my joy through it all.

In addition, airline frequent flier miles can be donated to help get Triumph back and forth from her home in Tennessee to Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver, Colorado where her surgeries, treatments and follow-ups are being performed. If you have miles you might be interested in donating, please email Triumph's mom Moe at triumphinusa@bellsouth.net for more information.

Any miles left over will be contributed to others to fly for care.

Thank you! "Moe"--her forever grateful mom who feels blessed to be the one following at the end of her leash on her mission to contribute to others.
